YOU CAN RUN.....

The whereabouts of Casey Anthony, after being released from prison Sunday night, is a closely guarded secret only known to a select few.

She is trying to start a new life after being acquitted of killing her daughter. According to the Huffington Post, Anthony's lawyers say they are trying to protect Casey from those people who have a lynch-mob mentality.

Although her options for a new life may be limited by lawsuits agaisnt her, the scorn of many who think she got away with murder, and a criminal record for lying to the police, her lawyer told NBC's Today Show that many volunteers have offered to help her.

"She's gone, she's safe, and elaborate plans have been made to keep her away from people", her lawyer also said. As for Casey's plans to cash in on her fame, her lawyer said, "she has certain rights as an individual in this country."

THE SPIN: In order to have those right's that Casey Anthony's lawyers talk about as an individual in this country, you have to be alive to claim them. Guess Caylee will never get a chance to claim her certain rights as an individual, because she was murdered, and didn't have a lawyer, or a mother, for that matter. You can run...but you can't hide.

THE GRAY AREAS OF LIFE AND THE LEGALSYSTEM

(AP)-What's the difference between murder and self-defense, or vigilante anger? An Oklahoma pharmacist convicted of murder in the shooting death of a teenager who tried to rob the Oklahoma pharmacist he worked at, was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole.

Jerome Ersland,59, showed no emotion when the sentence was imposed on him by a 12 member jury.
On may 19, 2009 Antwun Parker,16, and a second teen came into the pharmacy wearing masks and demanding money and drugs. Ersland said he was defending himself and two female co-workers when he shot Parker, who was unarmed, and chased the second armed teen out of the store.

Prosecutors said Ersland was justified in shooting Parker, who was struck in the head and knocked uncoscious, but went too far when he grabbed a second gun, and fired five more shots into Parker's abdomen. District A ttorney David Prater stated. "me and my office have been criticized. The rule of the law applies. No one is above it. Ersland's son, Jeff, vowed to collect signatures on a petition, to take to Govenor Mary Fallin to "right this outrageous wrong."

THE SPIN: WAS MR. ERSLAND WRONG? YOU COULD ARGUE THAT HE DIDNT HAVE TO GET A SECOND GUN AND SHOOT THE UNCONSCIOUS KID 5 MORE TIMES. BUT IF THE KID HAD'NT BEEN TRYING TO ROB THE STORE NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED.THE GRAY AREAS OF LIFE ARE FRUSTRATING AND PAINFUL.WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU TRY TO JUDGE A SITUATION WITH NO CLEAR CUT RIGHT OR WRONG ANSWER?YOU DO THE BEST YOU CAN.THUS IS LIFE ON THE SPINNING EARTH.

THE REAL DIRTY SOUTH

(USA TODAY)Nearly all U.S. counties with both high rates of HIV infection and poverty are in southern states. According to a USA TODAY analysis of data from 43 states of a study by Emory University's AIDSvu project, this is the clearest picture yet of the close kinship of low income and HIV/AIDS.
The analysis highlights avast geographic shift in the HIV epidemic in the USA in the three decades since the first cases of the deadly disease were reported in gay men by the CDC in 1981.
The analysis identified 175 counties that rank among the top 205 for both HIV and poverty.

Harold Henderson, an HIV expert at the University of Mississippi, says southern states suffer from a host of health issues, including HIV,for reasons that extend from poverty to a lack of education and fragile families.
"The age when kids become sexually active is pretty young in the deep south", he says."That has a lot to do with parent's not doing a good enough job educating their kids about sex.
Seven states-Alaska,Idaho,North Dakota,Ohio,South Dakota,Vermont, and West Virginia, did not share their HIV data.
